Directions for Use

  • Open the tube carefully: Use scissors to open the foil pack without damaging the applicator tube inside.

  • Apply on exposed skin: Part the dog’s hair along the back and apply the solution directly on the skin in several spots.
  • Spread across multiple areas: For large dogs, divide the full tube across three or four application points from neck to upper back.
  • Avoid run-off: Do not apply too much solution in one place to prevent it from running off the sides of the dog.
  • Prevent licking: Keep treated dogs apart from other pets for at least thirty minutes to stop them from licking the application sites.
  • Check the tube is empty: Keep the tube compressed on the final squeeze, then lift away to ensure all product is applied.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q1: How often should I apply PARASEDGE Multi for Dogs 3-9 lbs?

Ans: Apply this topical solution once every month to maintain protection against heartworms, fleas, sarcoptic mange, and intestinal parasites. Monthly use ensures consistent coverage since the product is formulated to remain effective for a full thirty days.

Q2: Can I bathe my dog after applying PARASEDGE Multi for Dogs?

Ans: Bathing ninety minutes after application will not affect heartworm prevention. Bathing or water immersion four days after treatment will not reduce flea control. Frequent bathing, such as weekly, may reduce overall flea effectiveness.

Q3: What should I do if my dog accidentally licks the application site?

Ans: Prevent licking for thirty minutes after application because ingestion may cause reactions like drooling, tremors, or incoordination. If accidental licking occurs and symptoms develop, contact a veterinarian promptly for guidance.

Q4: Is PARASEDGE Multi safe for dogs with existing heartworm infections?

Ans: Dogs should be tested before use. The product treats circulating microfilariae but does not kill adult heartworms. Heartworm-positive dogs require additional adulticide therapy under veterinary supervision.

Q5: Can I use PARASEDGE Multi for Dogs on pregnant or nursing dogs?

Ans: The safety of this product has not been established for breeding, pregnant, or lactating dogs. It should only be used in these situations under direct veterinary guidance to avoid potential risks.
